2023 Philanthropy Events

We were able to hold our annual Champion of the Anchor and Anchor Splash events this spring, where we raise a record-breaking amount of over $20,000 for Service for Sight! In the Fall of 2023, we held our first annual Slices for Sight during Do Good Week and our Milk and Cookies event on October 18, 2023. 

Anchor Splash® 2023 was a huge success!

Champion of the Anchor and Anchor Splash were held March 27th and 28th. We could not be more happy with the large attendance from our peers and community members and their enthusiasm throughout the events!

Anchor Splash is our main philanthropy event that we hold every spring to raise money and promote awareness for Delta Gamma's foundation Service for Sight. The first night is a dance competition for all the fraternities called Champion of the Anchor, and the next day we hold Anchor Splash which has a dance/synchronized swimming competition for all the sororities. At Anchor Splash, we also hold relay races for all organizations to participate.

Every fall we host a fundraiser for Gallant Hearts Guide Dog Center. In the fall of 2022, we hosted our first-ever Pops and Pups event on campus and raised even more money than the previous year.

We also support Gallant Hearts by Raising Guide Dogs within our chapter house and assisting in guide dog training.
